With the show kabinet #1, a new project room has opened in old town Vodnjan. Apoteka is named after the dismissed pharmacy where it is located. The opening show, curated by Branka Benčić, is conceived as the first chapter of the ‘kabinet’ series which will be presented to the public through exhibitions, talks and research matter that will shape Apoteka’s programme through an experimenting line. Lala Raščić is showing the video work A Load from the Inside, Matija Debeljuh presents a series of photographs named Sliparija – rebus 9 (film studies), while Kristian Kožul discloses an imaginary scene from a fictive history museum where he points to the superiority of the word of mouth over written history.
