Marc Quinn solo exhibition at Cini Foundation, Venice

Marc Quinn’s works create a contrast in every place they are exhibited. For his return on the cultural scene of Venice, the chosen location couldn’t be better. Cini Foundation, on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, with the simplicity  of its structure is the perfect frame for the intense selection of the artist’s works. Curated by Germano Celant, with more than 50 pieces, of which 15 are brand new, this exhibition is the biggest the artist has ever done. Blood, flesh, mutilated bodies and disturbing presences create a dialogue with the hyperrealism of his canvases and a visual collision with the pure white walls that follow you all around the exhibition spaces.
