The tender strength of Donatella Spaziani’s bodies

It can be drawn on a wall, on a wallpaper, or showed in the picture of a room: the shape a body gets in space – and the relation created between the two – is always the object of Donatella Spaziani’s inquiring consideration. So, selfportraits become windows, from which to observe rooms animated by bodies and objects, that are connected not only with the space they’re in, but also with the outside, that bursts into the scene and alters it. Donatella Spaziani used many techniques, and each artwork reveals the artist’s ability to create soft and pleasing atmospheres while choosing strong and solid colors and features.
