Lost and Found at the Museum of the Porec Territory

The idea of getting lost is a thread that linked narrative journeys of photographers Andy Fabrykant, Ross T. Smith, Cleo Wächter, Robert Sironic, Petra Pocanic and video artist Mīro Soares, now on show at the Museum of the Porec Territory in Porec, Croatia. In current times, since we are constantly connected and signaling our position at any moment, there is no possibility of losing ourselves. Paul Virilio writes that the growth of technology separates us from the events in real time and real space as we live in a society fascinated by speed.[1] In the time of speed, we experience an urgent need to slow down and understand who we are. A new wave of research, exploration and identity questioning is rising. More and more initiatives are addressed to directly experiencing territories and spaces, often by walking. And this is exactly how the artists navigated their way through spaces and moments.
