Premio Shanghai – Second Edition

Challenge. Who of you knows what Premio Shanghai is? Promoted by a synergy of many public and private Italian institutions, this prize is now at its second edition, and it was presented in Venice on May 29. Reserved to young Italian and Chinese artists of 18 to 35 years of age, it provides six residence exchanges for a two-month period in Italy and China. The prize’s main goal is to create and develop a network in its hosting countries; artists will be able to study how art is developing “on the other side of the world,” and to improve their language skills. Winners will exhibit in important galleries in both countries. Registrations are open.
