Louise Nevelson – Fondazione Roma Museo

A restrained disorder able to spread solemnity and harmony: this is Louise Nevelson’s art. Her works use a methodical repetition of the same elements to recall the magnificence of ancient art by using ordinary materials. An artistic development lies where the one and only color becomes protagonist, and conveys the artwork’s message. There is, above all, the assemblage, not only of objects, but also of suggestions and artistic fusions that reveal the artist’s nature: eclectic, curious and certainly independent. This way the exhibition area gets filled with sculptures that aren’t just objects to observe, but experiences to live, involving visitors in their spiritual energy.
