Darkness, sounds, pictures and videos. We are entering the plurality of narratives arranged by Tris Vonna-Michell, hosted for the fourth time at T293 Gallery in Rome. These stories tell about a ritualistic, methodical industriousness. Personal memories are set up within the context of the history of Berlin, and point to a world far from us – such as Japan – observed under a less striking side of its existence.

A postmodern narration made up of imagery that does not follow a logical/chronological order but takes the shape of an array of intuitive links, musical and spoken suggestions, pure observation of things. Time is also subjected to the touch of the artist, who cuts and edits or shows it with a ritualistic, reassuring rhythm.
