On the eve of the Frieze Week, Art Licks Weekend offers a focus on some of the most pioneering and dynamic examples of the capital’s art scene. Among the various events, the inaugural show of the new LUX space – featuring films and media works by Katie Hare, Callum Hill and Ellie Power – is not to be missed.

Organised by the eponymous magazine, Art Licks Weekend is a festival dedicated to emerging art practices, celebrating London’s dynamic young arts scene.

The exhibition CONSTRUCTS forms the Moving Image programme of the festival, focusing on the work of three exceptional artists who have recently graduated from one of London’s undergraduate or postgraduate arts degrees. Once again, the programme is presented in association with LUX, a public arts organisation for the support and development of artists working with the moving image, and will be the very first exhibition at the new LUX space in Waterlow Park, Highgate.
