Lizzie Fitch and Ryan Trecartin at Zabludowicz Collection London
Lizzie Fitch and Ryan Trecartin transform the space of the Zabludowicz Collection in an open air suburban cinema with ‘Priority Innfield’, their first exhibition in the UK, reconfiguring their untitled work first commissioned for the 55th Venice Biennial. Their sculptural theatres define a whole environment of several movies merging together multiple languages, identities and characters, which stage an hectic triumph of the simultaneity of the age of the Internet. Featuring works from 1999 to 2013, ‘Priority Innfield’ undertakes a survey on our changing relationship to the camera and its influence on conceptions of history, evolution and selfhood.
